Great Idea I have thought about it often. As I often carry containers of water around the yard. This would be perfect.

I made things called dripper trackers for solar cooking.
    (I invented them)
I think they could be adapted for slow watering of plants.
Its very low tech and might appeal to some people.
dripper trackers are on youtube too.

We installed drip irrigation three years ago and every night when I feed the rabbits I water our veg garden, a few minutes on each side. Simple and WORTH IT!

The water spreads to the surrounding dirt out of the 6″ slits in the tiny hose and all the plants in the area get watered. Be sure to clean your filters regularly – especially if you have well water.

Between the rabbit manure and the drip irrigation we have a huge healthy crop that feeds our neighbors as well as our family. Georgia

Great vid! Thanks for sending this. I’m a first year gardener. Having reasonable sucess against pests. I’m getting salad mix once a week. Also squash. Tomatoes comming along with a few ripe ones so far. Watering though is a real bearcat. It’s a real dry area so I have to water twice a day.I probably will install a drip system. I’ll mark dripworks to my favorites. Again thanks! Harlan.
